Ard (Achatatoil)
These sites were recorded by NOSAS in 2008/9 as part of an archaeological survey of outer Loch Hourn.
Site 1434. The remains of a D-shaped shieling hut, consisting of moss covered tussocks and some stones against a natural bank. It measures 3m x 2m externally E-W, over walls 1.2m wide and 0.4m high. The hut lies in a wet area and there is sedge in its centre; fronting it is a flat, grassy area. <1>
