Full Description
A track at Wester Fearn.
In 2014 ARCH provided a number of courses, field trips and other activities exploring and researching the remains of the 19th century engineer, road and church builder Thomas Telford. A project was undertaken in Kyle of Sutherland, during which many sites, not all related to Telford, were visited and photographed by participants. A track is depicted on the 1st edition OS map in the woods to the west of Wester Fearn, but it does not appear on the 2nd edition OS map. However, it can still be traced on the ground, as far as the quarry. NH 61882 88275 to NH 62565 87903. <1>
