Full Description

A longhouse is visible on aerial photography captured 1999-2001. <1>

Aerial photographs show a cluster of at least five buildings, possibly shieling huts of different periods, situated in a grassy, but bracken infested, clearing at the NW end of Loch Bharabhaig (see also MHG58410 and MHG58411).
At NG 68828 10078 there is a round-ended rectangular building, aligned NNE - SSW and measuring c12m x c3.5m internally. Approximately 10m to the SSW is another smaller building, aligned WSW - ENE and measuring c7m x c2.5m internally.
Information from Ishbel MacKinnon, July 2011. <2>

The buildings at NG 68828 10078 and NG 68780 09990 (MHG58411) appear to be two small farmsteads
Information from SRP Camuscross, August 2011. <2>
