Situated 30m to the W of the Allt Strollamus and 60m to the N of the line of the old road, on the summit of a low grassy mound, at 25m OD is a single compartment longhouse. In a ruinous condition the longhouse measures 11.25m N-S by 5.25m E-W over walls 1m wide. A door opening 30cm wide lies in the centre of the E wall.
A rectangular stone-built byre lies 10m to the SE of the longhouse; also in a ruinous condition this structure measures 6m N-S by 4m E-W over walls 1m thick. There is no obvious door opening into this structure. The badly degraded remains of a stone dyked enclosure which measures 19m N-S by 10m E-W lie to the rear of and attached to the longhouse.
Visited by M Wildgoose 2 April 1990.
