Full Description

A desk-based assessment and walkover survey of Cuil, on the shore of Loch Linnhe, Lochaber, was carried out in 2010 by N Malcolm for RCAHMS' 'Scotland's Rural Past Project'. In this area there are four mounds, three circular and one rectangular. When a nearby burn was turned into a ditch in the mid-1970s the material excavated was dumped creating these mounds, which are therefore of non- archaeological origin. <1>
