Oblique aerial photography (RCAHMSAP 2009) has recorded the ruins of three buildings and an enclosure at Camustrolvaig. Four roofed buildings and a head dyke at the end of a track way from the SE are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire and Cromartyshire 1881, Sheet XIXA.) Two of these remain roofed on the 2nd edition, and two are depicted as roofless.
