Full Description
This enclosure is situated in rough pasture immediately N of a track which climbs up a natural scarp towards the bridge spanning the railway line (NH 82933 05117). It measures 2.0m from N to S by 1.7m transversely, within an eroded, grass-grown, earth and boulder bank 0.3m wide and 0.25m defining three sides of the earthwork. The form of this enclosure suggests that it might have been made to accommodate a rectangular hutch. A similar earthwork is situated about 92m WSW (NH80NW 57). Visited by RCAHMS (ATW, SD), 9 April 2013 <1>
Nothing visible in Highland HER aerial collections or on OS mapping. GW 17/10/18
