Full Description

Site of a light anti aircraft gun emplacement with at least two concrete hut bases is visible on an RAF vertical air photograph (CPE/SCOT/UK 182 1319, flown 8 October 2013). The local landowner has a map in his possession from the War Office showing the location of ground to be requisitioned.

WW2 Nissan hut bases measuring 5x3m. The site was recorded in 2014 by Malone D, MacInnes A & Buchanan J as part of an archaeological survey of Isle Ewe. <1>
