Full Description
Noted on vertical photography and visited by M Briscoe is an observation post located on a small knoll to the N of Obinan, Opinan. Local information suggests this was an RAF observation post. The post is located on a small knoll looking out in a NNE direction. All that survives is a concrete base mesuring 1.96m x 2.6m. To the S and on the E side of the knoll are two concrete hut bases about 4m apart. Both are 12m x 5m aligned NE-SW. The NW hut has two small concrete bases about 0.8m from the NE and SW ends. They measure 2.8m x 2.05m and 3.8m x 2.15m.
