Remains of possible hut circle at Hallin.
What may be a hut-circle is situated on the N side of the drystone wall of Hallin Manse garden. It comprises a semi-circular stony bank spread to 2m and measuring 3.5m across the chord. The S side cannot be traced and may have been disturbed by the dyke while the N side is overlain by lazy-beds.

Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 4 November 1990. <1>
The given grid reference would place this feature c.250m to the east of the actual garden wall of the manse in an area that would hardly be described as 'garden'. However, there is a semi-circular feature just to the northeast of the grid reference visible in a single run of vertical aerial imagery. <2.
