Full Description
A system of rig cultivation was identified during a NTS pre-afforestation survey in 1997 of Kintail and West Affric. It was seen sloping down a terrace at 8m OD, the former raised beach. The rigs were aligned N-S and NW-SE and were presumably a remnant of the former fields of Inversheil township. <1>
