Full Description
Slight traces of rig cultivation were recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. A series of drainage channels suggest that the area was machine ploughed in the recent past. This was the remnant of a former rig cultivated field which has been ploughed and drained well-into this century. The field may originally have been associated with the settlement nearby (KIN104). <1>
