Meall an Duna is a small rocky knoll, which rises up to the E of the lochan that now fills the bottom of a shallow glen, which cuts across the Greshornish peninsula to the W of the Greshornish House Hotel. A small fort occupies the summit of the knoll, and there are four buildings scattered around its foot.
