Full Description

A hut circle near Kinloch, Rogart, visible on 1999-2001 and 2009 vertical APs. It measures approximately 14m across and appears to have an entrance in the south-southeast. <1> <2>

This site fits the description of a hut circle recorded by the OS in 1975 some 75m to the north-northwest (recorded as hut circle 'G' - see MHG) as the southernmost of a group of 7 hut circles within a probably associated field system. There is nothing visible at that location on available vertical APs but modern OS MasterMap does have the annotation 'Hut circle' there without a related feature [IS-L 15/01/2019].
