Full Description
A 60m stretch of drystone walling was recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. It was 0.3m max in height and c 0.6m wide. It extended along the N side of the N branch of the Invershiel Burn and extended a further 17m W of the junction of the two burns but then was no longer visible, possibly because it had been robbed out by peat cutting.
This was thought to be a township boundary, dating to before the introduction of sheep, defining the area of An Cnapach round to Uchd an t-Sabhail from Invershiel. <1>
