Full Description
Occasional lengths of low stone dyke were recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. They were c. 0.15m wide and up to 0.3m high, occuring in places along the N bank of the Abhainn Gaorsaic. Initially they were interpreted as a remnant stone dyke, but were likely to be intermittent blocking at the base of a wire fence. This fence was still visible when the area was surveyed by the OS in 1971. <1>
