Full Description

A drystone building was recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. It was aligned W/E near the path from Glen Elchaig to the Falls of Glomach. It was c. 11m by c. 3.5m over walls c. 0.6m wide and c. 0.4m high and there was a possible entrance in the north wall.
A dyke some 20m downslope from the building 'encloses' an area N of the building, but it could not be seen around the upslope S arc. Another dyke formed a trapezoidal enclosure some 50m upslope from the building. <1>
