Full Description
A short stretch of turf and stone dyke was recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. It was spread to c.1m and c.0.6m high and divided an island formed at the junction of the Allt a' Bhuilg and Allt a' Ghlas-choire. This made no structural sense but it might have been similar in function to the low dyke interpreted as a fence base on the N side of the burn to the W (see MHG59441). <1>
This feature is faintly visible on aerial photography. <2>
