Full Description
NG35SW 49 3390 5213.
The remains of a gabled cottage, which has been re-roofed with a single pitch roof, but is now derelict, stands just above the shore at the head of the Loch Greshornish. Built of mortared rubble with a central doorway and flanking windows, it is depicted as roofed on both the 1st and 2nd editions of the Ordnance Survey maps (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire, 1880, 1904, sheet xvi). The earlier map shows a second roofed building to the W, but all that was visible at the date of visit was a small drystone structure sunk into the ground some 20m to the W of the cottage.
