Full Description

A circular stone setting was recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. It measured c.3m in diameter across stones c.0.4m wide and c.0.15m high. It lay isolated on the lower hill slope above the river Croe. It was interpreted as a shieling dairy or similar transhumance structure. <1>
