Full Description
NG35SW 50 3343 5215.
There are two small buildings and an attached enclosure down on the shore of Lon Beatha some 100m E of the mouth of the Red Burn. The north-westerly appears to have been built against the corner of the other, and it also has a blocked entrance in its NNE side. The first edition of the Ordnance Survey map of 1880 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire, 1880, sheet xvi) depicts two unroofed buildings, one large and one small set side by side and an enclosure at this location.
