Full Description

An enclosure or structure of large upright boulders was recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. It measures c.6m broad at the E and c.3m broad at the W. About 6m in length survived but there has been peat cuttings at its E end. It could have been the remains of a building or of an animal enclosure dating to before the introduction of sheep. <1>
