Full Description

NG25NW 1.02 240 600.

There are four stone-walled huts scattered along the natural terrace immediately E of the fermtoun of Halistra, in an area of lazy-bed cultivation. Three of them measure about 3.5m in length by about 2m in breadth within walls up to 1m in thickness and 0.75m in height and the fourth is slightly smaller.

Visited by RCAHMS (PJD) 1 October 1990.

Three small structures are visible on aerial photography, approximately 4m by 2m. It is likely that that these are the structures referred to above, although they are north of the six figure grid reference given. <1>
