Full Description
A turf and stone dyke was recorded during an NTS pre-afforestation survey of Kintail and West Affric in 1997. It was nearly 1m wideand survived up to 0.5m high. It lay on the S side of an unnamed burn before crossing to the N as a turf dyke to curve N to the river Croe. The N section was largely obscured by rushes & bracken. It was shown on the 1971 OS survey but not on the 1st or 2nd edition OS maps. This boundary may have originally been associated with the settlement of Morvachmor which was recorded on Roy's survey of c1750. <1>
