Full Description
On the S side of Loch Stack and to the W of Creag nam Beart are the remains of a road block. The road block comprised two large concrete blocks on either side of the single track road. Each block had slots to hold large metal rails which would close the road. On the S side of the road block a line of three concrete posts are still visible between the road and a rock outcrop.
The Imperial War Museum picture library holds a picture of the road block taken during a Home Guard exercise.
