Full Description

In 2009 Forestry Commission Scotland commissioned C Shepherd to undertake a survey and assessment of those parts of the 18th century Military Road network crossing the National Forest Estate in Inverness, Ross & Skye, Lochaber and North Highland Forest Districts.
During the survey of Laggan, a fording or bridging point was recorded. It was marked by what appears to be the track matrix in the 'section' created by the burn. The track to this point was also well marked on the south. The height of the bank suggested a bridge to have been more likely than a simple ford. <1>
