Full Description

This survey, undertaken on the west side of Port a’ Bhàthaich in 2013 by Rough Bounds Archaeology et al, covered the land west of the fields of Rhu farm and the bay at Port a Bhàthaich.

Site 20. A small well built structure between a narrow gap in natural outcrops. Southern wall using flat natural rock, east wall built to over a metre high, west wall built and incorporating natural fall. Structure c.2 mtrs N/S and c.1 mtr E/W. North side no wall with a small gap before the northern outcrop. Possibly built for storage of kelp. <1>
