Full Description
A walkover survey at Tòrr Mòr Ghaoideil and Gaoth Dail was undertaken in 2015 by Rough Bounds Archaeology et al, exploring the area to the east of the large enclosure recorded at Gaoth Dail.
Site 8. Two large cairns on a small level area of old cultivation – cairns placed away from the edges of the area one c.5 x 3m long side to sea the other c.6 x 2.5m short side to sea. If clearance the cairns would be on outcrops – otherwise possibly burial cairns c. 17 m above sea level. <1>
