Full Description
On the N side of the valley of the Allt Forse a'Bhreitheimh are at least four buildings and a sheepfold, strung out along the 90m contour on the edge of a forest ride. With the exception of the northernmost building, all are depicted as unroofed on the 1st and 2nd edition Ordnance Survey maps of 1880 and 1904 (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire 1880, 1904, sheet ix). A further enclosure located on the maps (ibid) to the S has been destroyed by the forestry track. Vertical aerial photographs (Visible on RAF air photographs CPE/UK/175: 1735-6) show field banks
and cultivation ridges in the vicinity.
Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 18 November 1990.
