Full Description

There is a plaque at NH 58607 36646 mounted in a stone wall by a lay-by on the South side of the A82, in memory to Wellington Bomber N2980 'R' for ROBERT.
There is also a cairn at NH 58554 36595 which is at the other end of the lay-by, this has a plaque about the Side Sonar Scan used to find the Wellington but it is rather weather-beaten.
