Askaig, Former Lockkeepers House - GR NN 09580 76640
A two storey house with three dormer windows, a slate roof and a small wooden porch at the front/south side. The upstairs flat is accessed by an outside staircase at the rear/north side of the building and the downstairs apartment is used as a rest room for canal staff. This building is in the position of a larger building marked on the First Edition OS map. Recorded in 2013 as part of RCAHMS Scottish Canals Recording Project. <1>
