Full Description
Former Tollhouse – NN 09609 76647
A small single storey building on a SW-NE alignment measuring 6.5m x 5m. It has a hipped roof which is slated. There is a door in the NE wall and sash and case windows in N, S and East walls, the one in the E wall being boarded up but having a letter box. Probably the only remaining part of a range of buildings which are marked on the First Edition OS map. Recorded in 2013 as part of RCAHMS Scottish Canals Recording Project. <1>
