Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 24 April 1996.

A walkover survey of the area around Doire-chlaigionn was undertaken by Macinnes, A. and Doe, T. in 2014.

Site 18. Wells. This seems to be two adjoining wells from the same source, one being obviously later than the other. Beside the older well under a boulder is a dump full of old bottles, broken plates and shells. The later well can be accessed from a slab of rock from two sides. <1>
