Full Description

An unusual Roman brooch fragment was found during metal detecting. It has a flat reeded bow, short wings and a hinged pin in a cylindrical casing. Length 39mm. See DES entry for scale drawing.
Claimed as Treasure Trove (TT 97/16) and allocated to Historylinks Museum, Dornoch. <1>
