Full Description
An Anglo-Scandinavian copper-alloy sword lobed pommel. Claimed as Treasure Trove (TT 045/18) and allocated to Inverness Museum and Art Gallery. <1>
Information from the Treasure Trove database describes a Viking sword pommel made of copper alloy(?). Perforated on the top of the central lobe, 5 lobes altogether. 47x32mm. <2>
Four figure grid reference given is marginal. A full GR for the pommel is held by Treasure Trove. GW 17/07/20
