Full Description

Information from the Treasure Trove database (TT 132/13) describes a medieval silver finger ring, found metal detecting and submitted in 2013. It is described as: 'Fede ring w/clasped hands bezel, thick and broad hoop. Worn lombardic inscription likely to be Iheusus Nazeranus Rex Judorem. Surface very worn and smooth. It was allocated to Inverness Museum and Art Gallery. A large coin with rough edges and poor surface wear was also found but was disclaimed (TTNC 2015.178). <1>
