Full Description

A medieval silver coin hoard found during metal detecting was submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 159/14). It consisted of: 7 x Edward I, London; 1 x Edward I, York; Edward I, Bristol; 2 x Edward I unknown. It was allocated to Nairn Museum. <1>

Four figure grid reference given is marginal. A full GR and precise placename for the coin hoard is held by Treasure Trove. GW 23/07/20
