Full Description
Information from the Treasure Trove database (TT 157/17) describes a post-medieval copper alloy plaid brooch pin, discovered during metal detecting close to the river and submitted to TT in 2017. Head of pin is bent and looks as though the metal has cracked as a result. 90mm in length. Max head width is 12mm. 7.1g. Allocated to Inverness Museum and Art Gallery. <1>
Four figure grid reference given is marginal. A full GR for the pin is held by Treasure Trove. GW 10/07/20
