Full Description
Information from the Treasure Trove database describes a Early Bronze Age copper alloy flat axehead discovered during metal detecting and submitted to TT in 2016 (TT 187/16). Broad blade and square section butt. Extensive pitting across surface, small rounded raised area. Horizontal scores running aross surface, post depositional. 65.2mm x 125.4mm x 9.5mm. It was allocated to Inverness Museum and Art Gallery. <1>
