Full Description
The 1st and 2nd Edition OS maps depict Ivy Bank House, which was set in a large garden with a lodge near the entrance, situated on Maida Place. Nairn Academy has been built on the former site of the house and grounds. <1> <2> <3>
Ivybank House is recorded as being used as a Auxiliary Hospital during WWI. This was recorded as part of HS and RCAHMS' World War One Audit Project in 2013. <4>
