Full Description

Information from the Treasure Trove database describes a Early Medieval copper alloy Cruciform mount discovered during metal detecting and submitted to TT in 2016 (TT 03/16). It was stylised with possible zoomorphic cast decoration. Plain on reverse. Trace of gilt. 36.8 x 2.8mm. Allocated to the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery. <1>

Four figure grid reference given is marginal. A full GR for the mount is held by Treasure Trove. GW 10/07/20
