Full Description
Cutting end of polished axe of greenstone, fractured on the edge, from Culloden, Inverness-shire. It was acquired by the NMS in 1889 (AF 371). <1>
Another polished stone axehead from Culloden was donated to the Hunterian Museum in 1914. it is listed in their online catalogue under Acc. No. GLAHM:B.1914.156. See link below. <2>
