Full Description
Upper and lower quernstones from Laggan, Inverness-shire. Micaceous schist, 23" diameter, upper face ornamented with a cross. They were acquired by the NMS in 1828 from Rev. M. Mackay. Listed under Acc. Nos. BB 4-5. <1>
GR indicative only. Precise findspot unknown. Unclear whether the findspot is referring to the parish of Laggan or the village of Laggan. GW 11/07/19
