Full Description

Granite memorial-Celtic cross with carvings, on a tapered plinth, and a boulder base. The whole sits in a walled area, 3 steps up from road level. It reads:

THE MEMORY OF THE MEN
OF BILBSTER AND STIRKOKE
WHO FELL IN THE GREAT WAR OF
1914-1919
[names]
ALSO THE FOLLOWING
WHO FELLL IN THE WAR OF On the Granite Step-1939-1945
[names]
