Full Description
Several implements of sandstone from Carness, Inverness-shire, are listed in the NMS catalogue (Acc. AC 272- AC 280). They were acquired in 1887. There is a Carness to the SE of North Ballachulish and it is assumed that this is the findspot. <1>
Grid reference is indicative of Carness Farm only and does not represent the precise findspot. GW 07/11/2019
