Full Description
Two possible ring ditches can be seen on Google aerial photographs (taken in 2019) in Kincardine, Sutherland. They were reported to the HER by K Taylor. <1> <2>
Whether the circular marks are of archaeological origin is very difficult to say with certainty. The images on Google maps aren’t at great resolution. The western one is about 10-11m across which is perfectly reasonable for a ring ditch/hut circle but on closer inspection it looks more like a hexagon than a circle. The eastern one however, may be showing an entrance in the south of the ring. <3>
