Full Description

A copper alloy ingot was found by metal detecting from Ardersier. It was submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 106/03) and allocated to Inverness Museum. It is plano convex in shape and typologically similar to ingot moulds known from late Iron Age and Early Medieval sites. It is listed under Acc. No. 2004.038. <1> <2> <3>

The findspot is given as Ardersier, which could refer to the village or the parish. The exact findspot is unknown and a marginal reference only has been attached to this record. GW 22/01/20
