Full Description

A project of surveying and recording the archaeological sites within the grounds of Castle Leod was carried out by members of the North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NOSAS) in the winter of 2012-13.

Site 16. A substantial wall encircles the castle and immediate ground. Described in two sections which may or may not be contemporary with each other, only the east section appears on the 1762 map, although the west section may be marked on the Roy map of 1750. <1>
