Full Description
A gold posy ring was submitted to Treasure Trove (TT 92/18). It had an internal inscription reading "QVHAIR LVFE IS TREV" (where love is true?) and between each word was a diamond. The external face had diagonal linear incisions extending from the outer edge inwards, almost like a chevron. The ring had been misshapen in the ploughsoil and there was an indentation along the edge of the ring. It was allocated to Groam House Museum. <1>
Four figure grid reference given is marginal. A full grid reference for the object is held by Treasure Trove. GW 03/07/20
