Full Description
Half of a rotary quern was discovered on croft land near the house during excavation and building work for a septic tank. It was made of a rough honey coloured schist. It had a shallow handle socket and measured approximately 350mm in diameter and 50mm thick. It was submitted to Treasure Trove and disclaimed (TTNC 2017/047). <1>
